FAQ

Welcome to Rally Haus

Here's everything you need to know before your first session.

Before You Book

What if I'm coming alone?

Most people do. Rally Haus is designed to help people meet through tennis, so you never need to bring a partner or group to join.

What level do I need to be?

Most Rally Haus players are USTA 2.0+, but everyone is welcome. Each clinic lists its recommended level, and if you're unsure where you fit, please reach out.

Is Rally Haus beginner-friendly?

Absolutely. Whether you're picking up a racquet for the first time or getting back into tennis after years away, there's a clinic designed for your level.

How many players are in a clinic?

Clinics are limited to 7 players so everyone receives individual coaching and personalized feedback.

Do I need a JCC membership?

Yes. Clinics and private lessons are billed through your Austin JCC member account, so an active membership is required to participate.

Booking & Registration

How do I register?

Pick a clinic or private lesson, choose your date, and fill out a short form right on the site — no account or app required. You'll get an email confirmation right away.

How do I know if spots are available?

Every clinic shows live availability, so you'll always know how many spots are left.

What if a clinic is full?

You can join the waitlist right from that clinic's page. If a spot opens up, Aaron will personally reach out.

How do I cancel?

Visit Manage Your Booking, enter the email you registered with, and choose the session you'd like to cancel.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Please cancel at least 12 hours before your session if you can't make it. Cancellations within 12 hours are reviewed individually and may be charged the full clinic fee.

Weather Policy

If weather affects a clinic, you'll be notified by email or text as soon as possible. If a clinic is cancelled for weather or unsafe court conditions, you won't be charged.

Billing

Clinics and private lessons are billed through your Austin JCC member account — $30 for 60-minute sessions, $45 for 90-minute sessions. This site never collects payment directly.

Private Lessons

How do private lessons work?

Private lessons begin with a request rather than instant booking. Choose your lesson type and preferred time, and Aaron will confirm availability within one to two business days.

What lesson types are available?

Whether you're looking for one-on-one coaching, training with a friend, or improving alongside a small group, there's a lesson format designed to fit your goals.

What to Expect

What should I bring?

Bring your racquet, water, and comfortable tennis shoes. We'll take care of the rest.

When should I arrive?

Plan to arrive about 5–10 minutes before your session so you have time to check in and warm up.

What's the court etiquette?

If another lesson or clinic is in progress when you arrive, please wait outside the court until the current session has concluded before entering. We appreciate your courtesy and consideration for fellow players.

What happens during a clinic?

Every session includes instruction, drills, match play, and personalized coaching in a welcoming, small-group environment.

What should I expect after my first clinic?

You'll leave with new skills, greater confidence, and hopefully a few new tennis friends.

What makes Rally Haus different?

Rally Haus is built around small groups, personalized coaching, and a welcoming community. It's a place to improve your game, meet great people, and make tennis one of the best parts of your week.
